Old Man Cat
Intro to Monty
The other night I had to poke three different mammals of two different species to find out which one was snoring. It was my large orange cat, long haired and in his teens, like an aging hippy.
Monty is 100% an old man cat and has been since we adopted him as an adult five years ago. A little skittish, he doesn't like loud noises or sudden movements, and he won't sit on your lap. He will instead throw himself down next to you for a belly rub before spending his day in the basement or snoring at the top of the cat tree. AKA, in his workshop or his recliner. I assume he has to walk uphill in the snow both ways to school, and does not understand the use of hashtags. Old. Man.
Not to be rude to the older population, but you know that particular stereotype. All he need is an old man hat and probably a sweater.

What a cutie! I loved reading about him.
Make the man a sweater, then!
